Government funding for schools

Funding secured for school building improvements

We are delighted to have secured government funding to improve facilities at Altrincham College and Reddish Vale High School.

CEO Kim Earle said that securing funding for both schools "is a huge achievement given the current national picture, and it also maintains our track record of successful bids."

Connor Rand MP shared the news on his Facebook page, adding, "fantastic news that Altrincham College has secured this funding to improve their facilities and the learning experience of students."

At Altrincham College, the funding is supported by a contribution from the Achieve and Learn Trust, and will cover the replacement of the roof on the single-storey Maths and Geography block and the internal heating and associated works. At Reddish Vale High School, the funding will cover the replacement of one of the roofs, also with a contribution from the Trust.
