Our Trust held a Governance Away Day for Headteachers, Governors, Trustees and Members at The Nest, in Altrincham. It was great to speak with everyone together in such a wonderful venue!

The day comprised:

CEO Introduction: Belonging

Director of Safeguarding and Attendance: understanding the data, looking for patterns, challenging effectively, Trust Strategy on Attendance, impact so far

Director of Education: new Ofsted framework and reporting; what this means for Governance

Purposeful activities allowed for deeper knowledge and understanding plus effective collaboration which led to many new links being made, with new networks formed between Link Governors and Link Trustees!
